This Is The Italeri 1/72 RAH-66 Comanche No.058
This helicopter has been developed for the U.S. Army and will eventually – at the beginning of the next century – replace the Kiowa OH-58 and Cobra AH-1 (Italeri No. 185 and 160).
The RAH-66 has a low-visibility fuselage (Stealth concept), which has become more and more important after the experiences of the 1991 Gulf War.
The Stealth features have been obtained through flat, angled elusive surface areas, shortened air. intakes, inside armament and the use of non-metallic materials.
The Comanche is furthermore equipped with sophisticated all-weather and night vision navigational systems.
